Rolling Stone comes to Bulgaria

I am passionate about bringing meaningful products to market and finding product-market fit. In 2008 I identified an opportunity to bring a new title to the Bulgarian media landscape. After researching different consumer segments, it became clear that music and culture giant Rolling Stone was the radically objective outlet that local pop culture needed the most. Rolling Stone had 16 international editions and was in the process of negotiating with another Bulgarian company when I reached out to them about licensing to launch in Bulgaria. That Fall, I was in New York negotiating my proposal with Jann Wenner, the Founder and Editor-in-Chief. His encouragement and support were incredible and I received the approval the day I graduated, becoming the youngest and only female Editor-in-Chief at Rolling Stone worldwide.
